This is the project I am currently working on. I have been photographing some of the best but more importantly, most interesting chefs in the Uk. Their passion and creativity has been a huge inspiration to me and is helping me to create some of my best work to date.
The Gunsmith
This series of paintings was inspired by a large commission from a collector who is renovating an early 20th century building in Birmingham that housed several gunsmithing workshops. The show was held at Clarendon Fine Art, Birmingham February 2023
After Hours
This was a series created in Lockdown and inspired by the Rembrandt painting, ‘The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp. The show was held at Clarendon Fine Art, Covent Garden London, November 2021
Max and Mischa
This series was based on a short screenplay written speicifically to create a storyboard of paintings, about a girl who gets into a whole heap of trouble. The show was cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Click on image to see the series.
