The Chef Project
I think it’s safe to say that all humans are interested in stories. Storytelling has always been fundamental to how we learn about the world and our place in it.
I have always loved telling stories whether with words or pictures, or sometimes both. In particular I love to find people who are intensely creative and passionate about what they do. Take a step into a michelin star kitchen mid service on pretty much any night of the week and the intenisty and passion are in fiery abundance.
My paintings in this series of chefs are mostly in the quieter moments when they are in reflection, their minds never truly resting, they are always designing new dishes, new flavour combinations and how to keep blowing the minds of their guests.
